This turquoise cow skull was a collaborative effort. I cleaned the
steer skull and applied gesso to all the surfaces, even the back. Then
Liana painted the front, top and sides with professional grade, artist
acrylics. It was my job to take the pictures and create the listing. I
think we make a great team.
I found this cow skull packed away in
storage. Rather than toss it, or give it away, I decided to clean it
,and ask my girlfriend to paint it. She is a professional, award winning
artist, whose turquoise paintings have sold for hundreds of dollars.

This
turquoise painted bull skull was so much fun, that we have started
another one. And maybe in the end, we are somehow honoring the animal by
recycling nature and giving it a second life.
Well, I am off to hunt down more skulls. If you have any questions, just send me a convo.
